Under the leadership of company founder Chris Finneral, the Jamesco team is dedicated to the highest level of craftsmanship in every project it undertakes, from a complete custom home, to a kitchen or bath renovation, to a multi-home community. Chris is personally involved in every project to ensure that all work meets the rigorous standards that clients have come to expect from Jamesco.
Jamesco Development has completed the construction of numerous single family home communities, including Laughton Farms in Westford, MA and The Homes at Old Marsh in Wells, ME. In 2014, Jamesco joined forces with Wescon Inc. to create Archstone Builders. Archstone Builders combines the strengths of each company to offer premier residential development and home building services throughout Massachusetts’ Merrimack Valley.
About Chris Finneral, Founder
Chris graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell with a degree in criminal justice. After graduation, he spent nine years with the Lowell, MA police department but a lifelong passion for construction led him to return to residential construction, a field he had worked in as a young adult. After building a reputation for high quality finish carpentry and extraordinary attention to detail, Chris was inspired to start his own business. In 1999, he founded Jamesco Development. Since then, Jamesco has earned recognition for the caliber of its work crafting high-end custom homes, renovations and additions. Chris continues to be a hands-on builder, taking pride in his work and leading his team on job sites.
